No camera. That is the point.
DRAGEN uses the Even Realities G2 glasses and R1 ring as a hands-free window into a DRAGEN hub. Uses for clinical and school settings are designed but not built yet. The reason for this hardware is not the display. It is that there is no camera in them, so no photo or video can be taken, and nobody in the room has to take that on trust. The glasses do have microphones, which their own transcription and translation features use.
Why this hardware
A camera in a therapy room is a problem you cannot argue your way out of.
Most smart glasses have a camera. In a clinic, a classroom, or somebody's living room, that changes the room — and explaining that the camera is switched off asks a family to trust a setting they cannot see.
Camera-free hardware removes the argument entirely. The remaining value is real: a line of text in your field of view means you can keep your eyes on a child instead of on a clipboard, and a ring on your finger means you can advance something without letting go of what you are holding.

Every DRAGEN tool is written by one practicing BCBA working with Claude Code, Anthropic's coding agent. He states the problem; the agent writes the code, runs it and tests it; he reviews every line that touches data, money or privacy. That is how one person ships software that would normally take a team.
The glasses and ring connection is built the same way: small pieces, each one tested before the next, so what reaches your hub is fast and plain enough to show in a single line of text in your view.
